About Me

Hello! My name is Abody and I am a software developer with a passion for building web applications. I started learning how to code back in 2016 during my university studies. My first programming language was Java and switched to JavaScript as you can build websites, APIs and mobile applications with only one language.

I value building a high availability, scalable, and secure application. I also love to learn new technologies and I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills.

Joined IQVIA as a part of the integration team, which is responsible for integrating IQVIA hospital information system with other external systems such as the Laboratory information management system and Radiological information system.

Malaysiakini subscription API
A subscription platform which allow users to subscribe to Malaysiakini news. The system built using Stripe which can handle one-time purchase and recurring subscriptions. Along with user facing platform, an admin platform was built to handle all users subscriptions.

Comment System
Coral project is an open-source comment system owned by Vox media. I manage to integrate the project into the Malaysiakini website, the comment system became one of the features for paying users.

Page View Analytics
Built an analytic system for Malaysiakini to monitor all the users' page views. The system is built with Kafka and AWS analytics stacks like Kinesis, S3 and Athena. The system is handling 4k requests per second with less than 1-minute data processing and 99.99% high availability
